Our story began in 2015, when founder Ngoni Mujuru realised whilst working as an auditor for PwC that businesses valued nothing as highly as customer feedback. However, a problem presented itself - each business had developed its own way of feedback collection and processing, leading to inconvenience for both clients and the businesses. Thus, the idea of a universal feedback collection application was born - a feedback platform for the modern age.
Letterbox makes the process of giving feedback competitive and rewarding for users via our Impact Leaderboard. The Leaderboard tracks and ranks individual users in an area by their Impact - measured in Impact Points - and rewards the top users for giving in-depth, thoughtful, and accurate feedback. We have, and continue to partner up with local businesses to sponsor rewards on a bi-monthly basis, giving them a platform to gain new clients and exposure. Businesses receive their feedback through location-based virtual letterboxes, visible to any users in the area.
For businesses, Letterbox is a direct channel of communication with their customer base. It enables them to be highly responsive to customers and create customer loyalty. Businesses can answer questions officially in their own letterboxes or user our built-in direct messages feature to contact clients privately to thank them for a review, or amend a mistake. Our Letterbox Stories feature allows organisations to post promotions, announcements and events. These, just like our letterboxes, are location based - meaning anyone who opens our app can see what's happening around them.
